Struggle against late payment - 02.05.2011
The European Parliament and the Council of the European Union have adopted on the last 16 February 2011 the new directive 2011/7/EU whose scope is to combating late payment in commercial transaction.
The new directive repeals, with effect from the next 16 March 2013, the Community discipline which is at the present time in force in this matter – that is the directive 2000/35/EC – and it even introduces some innovations. The Member States shall comply with the new discipline within the same time-limit.
